چکیده
Currently in the city of Lima there is a limited number high-rise buildings. Therefore, not much literature on this type building Peru. Peruvian codes focus medium and low-rise For reason, studies are required to analyze design these tall buildings more appropriately according reality country. In article, pushover modal analysis 6 types 35-Story reinforced concrete will be developed. Three models with different structural systems square rectangular plan proposed, being areas 29m × 52m 26m respectively. These rigid core frames an energy dissipation system (fluid viscous dampers shear-link-bozzo dissipators SLB) order study their behavior against seismic stresses. were based criteria requirements current country as well distribution floor commonly used for offices homes. Natural periods (T) found range from 2.6 3.3 seconds There increase damping 4.2 5.4 also SLB devices 3.7 4.6 seconds. turn, static nonlinear was performed obtain capacity curves each building, which compared demands provisions standard E.030 average spectra. acceleration records severe events Peru scaled 0.2T 1.5T. The performance points case determined following ATC-40 methodologies, finding that have approximately twice stiffness dampers, low ductility, unlike dissipators, high ductility.

The paper reports the results of a joint project on evolutionary design of reinforced concrete structures in tall buildings. It has been conducted at the Center for Concrete Structures at the Darmstadt University of Technology in Germany and in the School of Information Technology and Engineering at George Mason University. Its ultimate objective is to revolutionize design of both steel and con...
متن کاملModelling Issues for Tall Reinforced Concrete Core Wall Buildings
Reinforced concrete walls are commonly used as the primary lateral force-resisting system for tall buildings. As the tools for conducting nonlinear response history analysis have improved and with the advent of performancebased seismic design, reinforced concrete walls and core walls are often employed as the only lateral forceresisting system. Proper modelling of the load versus deformation be...
متن کاملProbabilistic assessment of the seismic damage in reinforced concrete buildings
The main objective of this article is to assess the expected seismic damage in reinforced concrete buildings from a probabilistic point of view by using Monte Carlo simulation. To do that, the seismic behavior of the building is studied by using random capacity obtained by considering the mechanical properties of the materials as random variables. Starting from the capacity curves, one can obta...
متن کاملStudy and Comparison of Seismic Behaviour of Isolator-Damper Hybrid Control System with Conventional Structural Systems
In this paper, in addition to introduce a hybrid structural system contained local isolators and dampers, its behavior and functional capabilities were studied on a conventional structure. For this purpose, an RC frame building with six-story was designed based on valid codes and then, in four cases based on the number of spans, it was split into two separate adjacent frames. Base isolation was...
